Welcome to MdJ Studio, my name is Matt and I love to draw.
I believe my most interesting work is born between intentionality and a lack of expectations. By letting go of what we think illustration for clients “should be” and allowing the creative process to lead the way, we can make interesting and unique Artwork that enhances the experience of the people that interact with it.
I draw everything by hand, with pen on paper, to let imperfect and unexpected moments shape the illustration. I bring my personal work to life with the analog and process driven method of screen printing. My work is born from daily observations blended with dream-like sensations. Themes of nature, technology and humanity, dance around each other in my pieces with accents of inner dialogues and personal reflection sprinkled into mix.
