Local Dork is a staple of Burlington’s vinyl and DJ culture. A duo made up of Vermont musicians Bob Wagner (Kat Wright, Bob Wagner & Friends) and Matt Hagen (The High Breaks, Purple [Prince Tribute], Darkside of the Mountain, Burning Monk, Savage Hen & more). Rooted in analog authenticity, community interaction, and genre-spanning selections, their weekly Tuesday night sets at Foam Brewers continue to draw local fans, earning them a reputation as cherished fixtures in Vermont’s music scene.
Thriving on vinyl purity, surprise, and sonic variety, Local Dork crafts sets that are less genre-bound than vibe-focused. Expect jazz grooves, funk rhythms, indie flair, and occasional improvisational detours, all delivered through carefully curated analog selections designed to keep the room engaged.
6-9pm every Tuesday at Foam.
