Dan Ryan has been a fixture in the Burlington music community since 2004. He has been on the scene both as a UVM music major (graduating in 2010) and as a performer around town. His attention to detail and fiery passion for laying the foundation for grooves has afforded him the opportunity to play with some of Vermont's standout artists (Madaila, Kat Wright, Craig Mitchell & Motor City, Strength in Numbers, JUPTR, and more). His group, The Dan Ryan Express, operates in the jazz world and combines traditional tunes with modern language to curate a unique blend of sounds. Joining Ryan for this performance are Bryan "Bubba Fresh" McNamara on alto sax, Parker Shper on Fender Rhodes, and Diallo House on acoustic bass.
