Ali McGuirk has never been a church mouse. Her 2022 album, Til It’s Gone, was met with widespread acclaim and praised for its “earthy tenderness and smart introspection” (Boston Herald). She now returns with a new album, Watertop, that elevates her signature soulful and smoldering sound to new heights—this time, the production is richer, and the message is unflinching.

Hailing from Northern Vermont, Wild Leek River is a regular 5-piece country band. The songs they play vibrate with sounds of new and old, steady back-beats and good stories. Their style and performances trace its roots from the honky tonks of days gone by, with rowdy shows across Vermont and throughout the Northeast.

Halloween comes early to Foam on October 30 with blistering surf rock from The Wet Ones, one-man rockabilly mayhem from Bloodshot Bill, and DJ Zombeat and Die. $15, all ages. Don't be a bummer. Costume up.

A long time Foam favorite, Vermont singer-songwriter Lily Seabird brings her earthy folk and grungy rock to Foam on Saturday, December 12, weaving twangy spaciousness, gritty guitars, and deeply human storytelling.
