Foam Presents a very special free show on Weds, July 16th. Merce Lemon and Renny Conti. 8pm.
Pittsburgh-born songwriter Merce Lemon crafts music that blurs the line between fragility and ferocity, rooted in nature, memory, and community. Her latest album, Watch Me Drive Them Dogs Wild, is a record born from stillness, soil, and the strength of the city that raised her—a loose yet deeply rooted network spanning Pittsburgh’s hills, rivers, bridges, and homes. After stepping back during the pandemic to reconnect with music on her own terms, Merce found new inspiration in farming, writing, and the grounding forces of nature. The result is an album as fierce as it is tender—songs of longing and belonging, propelled by wild guitars, emotional clarity, and a reverence for the land that shaped her. It’s restless, raw, and fully alive.
Renny Conti is a Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from the San Francisco Bay Area. Influenced by artists like Will Oldham and Harvest-era Neil Young, his music balances the experimental and the organic, blending tangly guitar melodies with lyrics about love, grief, and nature. His 2025 self-titled album explores tension and release, offering songs that unravel differently with every listen. Hailed as a singular new voice in indie music, Renny has been featured in Paste Magazine, The Line of Best Fit, Fretboard Journal, and Life with John Mayer.
