Jesse Taylor is a singer-songwriter whose music delves deep into personal reflection, vulnerability, and raw emotion. A Maine native who’s made Vermont her home for over a decade, Jesse began her musical journey in 2015 after walking away from dental hygiene school, a decision that marked the beginning of her true artistic pursuit. Drawing from her experiences working in the service industry and navigating the complexities of depression, anxiety, and ADHD, Jesse crafts lyrics that resonate with authenticity and grit.
Inspired by a diverse blend of artists like Courtney Barnett, Regina Spektor, and Ingrid Michaelson, her songs embody the same fierce vocals, poignant storytelling, and unapologetic approach to self-expression. Whether performing solo with just an acoustic guitar, rocking out with her original band (Jesse Taylor Band), belting 90’s hits with Lazer Dad, or channeling the energy of Gwen Stefani in the No Doubt tribute project Bathwater, Jesse's performances are as dynamic as her sound.
Her music is an invitation to connect, reflect, and feel deeply—capturing moments of strength, vulnerability, and the unfiltered beauty of being human.
