[Goodwin]
Comprised of guitarist Jason Fletcher, vocalist and guitarist Michael E Goodwin and drummer Matt Lydon, Boston-based band Goodwin spills forth ebullient grooves that spark the imagination and inspire the body to move! Live, the trio is frequently joined by vocalist Emily Campagna, bassist Ethan Stewart, and percussionist Yahuba Garcia. The band recorded their first album - “The Hunt” - in June of 2023 at Halo Studio in Windham, Maine with engineer and co-producer Jon Wyman and bassist Chris Sartori of Twisted Pine. Goodwin was also joined by pedal steel sensation Ben Lester of Bon Iver and S. Carey on “Tetons.” After releasing a handful of singles in the summer of 2023, “The Hunt” was released on vinyl and on all streaming platforms in October of 2023. The band will be gigging regularly in the coming months to support the album and plans on returning to the studio in the spring of 2024 to record their next album. Come check them out and be part of what is becoming an integral and inspired feature of the contemporary sonic landscape!
[Danny James]
Hot off the press, DannyJames’ debut full length album “Heatwave” is warming our hearts with groovyneo-soul and r&b that we all need in our lives. Co-produced with long timefriend and collaborator Es-k, a legendary beat maker in his own right, the twohave delivered an album that’s a breath of fresh air; a revelation in theweight of lightness. Split equally between instrumental grooves and the butteryvocals of James and his friends Mari and Stephanie Wilson. Sprinkle on top alittle extra sweetness with ultra smooth guitar licks by Max Bronstein-Paritz(aka Steen) and soulful trumpet by John Culbreth. The whole crew showed up on“Heatwave”, a debut album baked to perfection. - Inner Ocean Records.
