Foam Presents: GAYBAR. Saturday, 2/8 8pm.
On Saturday from 8-10 we'll have GAYBAR curating music including tech house, dance, trip-hop and downtempo electronic. GAYBAR is a DJ and visual artist originally from the East Coast of Canada, now based in Vermont. Known for crafting dynamic, genre-pushing sets, GAYBAR shares her deep love for dance music with audiences both on and off the stage.
As a prominent figure in Vermont's queer music scene, GAYBAR performs at some of the area's most celebrated venues, including the Burlington Pride Festival main stage for the last 3 years. Recognized by her local community in Vermont, she was nominated for Best Club DJ in both 2023 and 2024 by the Seven Daysies Awards.
GAYBAR holds the honor of being the resident DJ for the First Friday series hosted by Emoji Nightmare at Higher Ground, and can frequently be found spinning at the Queer Takeover series at Radio Bean.
Whether behind the decks or bringing her distinctive visual art to life, GAYBAR remains dedicated to creating inclusive, loving experiences that celebrate good music and the power of radical community.
