Eustis returns to Foam with a new live configuration and material from their forthcoming third album. The trio of Dan Bishop (bass, vocals), Ezra Oklan (drums), and Cosmic The Cowboy (pedal steel) reshapes the Eustis catalog in real time, reinterpreting songs from night to night. It’s a departure from their earlier releases, leaning into something more fluid, surreal, and hard to pin down. Familiar pieces take on new forms. New ones land like they’ve been around forever.
Opening the night is Holding Napoleon, the project of singer, songwriter, and producer Jeremy Mendicino. The songs pull from across timelines, some long shelved, some newly unearthed, all delivered with a kind of restless urgency. There’s a rawness to it, but also intention. Music as a way through. Music as a push toward something bigger, louder, more human.
