Foam Presents: Osage Orange and The Shady Trees
Osage Orange is the musical project of Burlington-based singer-songwriter Nick Varisano, bassist Dave Carlson, and drummer Jeremy Gantz. Formed in 2007, the trio channels a sound that’s as much ceremony as it is performance—an electric desert folklore distilled with intention.
The Shady Trees have been described as a blend of Sublime-Esque Grateful Floyd fueled by Hendrix/Scofield inspired guitars. Brother Jesse and Micah Sanguedolce harmonize on guitars and vocals. Their songs are a solid hittin and you’ll be humming a chorus or two after the show. Zack Alario commands the drums with ease and Jason Whipkey slaps/thuds the bass guitar in all the right spots. This four piece is meant for a live setting.
Show at 9 PM | No cover

Ali McGuirk has never been a church mouse. Her 2022 album, Til It’s Gone, was met with widespread acclaim and praised for its “earthy tenderness and smart introspection” (Boston Herald). She now returns with a new album, Watertop, that elevates her signature soulful and smoldering sound to new heights—this time, the production is richer, and the message is unflinching.
