As a relative newcomer to the scene, Collin has steadily DJed over the past year, including solo events that feature the darker side of 80s era alternative, including post-punk, goth, and industrial music. At times, these genres have celebrated holidays including Dark Halloween and Dark Xmas shows, as well as more general presentations in his sets titled Dark Entries. Other solo DJ offerings include 80s New Wave Dance Party nights and opening hardcore concerts for Rough Francis, Blossom, Violet Crimes, The Path, and Outnumbered. He's also partnered with other local DJs such as Bobby Hackney Jr. and Mike Frank in their exploratory For the Record series as well as David Smitten for a celebration of the 30 year anniversary of The Battle of Britpop. Collin is into creating a lively time no matter the genre, prioritizing having fun, connecting community, and playing a mix of known bangers and forgotten gems.
