Join us on Friday, November 8 from 5-8 PM at Foam and @deepcityvt for an art opening featuring two new collections of work from the talented Barbara Prestridge. With a BFA in painting from Cornell and advanced degrees from Syracuse and Kean, Barbara has spent her life sharing her love for the arts as an educator, arts integration specialist, and painter.
Her new collection, Vermont Visions, which will be shown in the @deepcitycityvt space, celebrates the unique beauty of our state through vibrant acrylic canvases. Vermont has become a cherished place for Barbara through years of visiting her daughter Ally and now fiancé Bob, and her time spent here has inspired this collection.
Her collection shown in Foam, “In Search of Lost Time” showcases Barbara’s deep understanding of, and talent in watercolor painting, expressive portrait work, and captivating abstract themes. Barbara’s art reflects a joyful interplay of creativity and experimentation. Enjoy a free evening of art, followed by music from Tyler Mast.
