This beer came as the result of years of working together with the good folks at Freestyle. Masters of their trade, the growers at Freestyle have been providing us with exceptional hops which contribute distinct flavor and aroma to many of our beers. This Double IPA in particular was built around their Riwaka and Southern Cross, imparting a myriad of delicious citrus forward flavors onto this beer. KOHA opens up with vibrant notes of ripe honeydew melon and citrus on the nose. On the palate we experience candied orange peel and sweet citrus, followed by a hint of vanilla bean on the finish.
